Ingredients
1 pound beef sausage
2 bell peppers
1 large onion
2 cloves garlic
1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
1. In a large skillet, cook the sliced beef sausage over medium heat until browned.
2. Add the sliced bell peppers and onions to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Stir in the minced garlic, crushed tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Bring to a simmer and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow the flavors to meld.
5. Serve on hoagie rolls for a classic sandwich or over pasta for a hearty meal.
